steering

Same. I heard that you can get it "dialed down" but I have not confirmed that yet.

Yes, the few Saturn Ions I test-drove with the electric power steering seemed crisp, but not stiff. Perhaps there is a way in the onboard computer that they can change the "ratio" of the steering control.
wow i thought my steering was too loose. hmm, i dont know about you but i wish my steering was just a tad bit tighter.
I think it's all bullshit. Don't listen to the experts, if the steering is stiff, then it's stiff. Get a car that doesn't have electric steering or at least feels nicer to drive.
Own, just bought, 2013 , Hyundia Sonata. The steering is a hazard to life. It takes work and excessive attention to keep the car in the driving lane. I agree with getting an older car with steering that works properly. Do not believe the talk. Believe the reality. The car is all over the place on the road. Consider the risk of mountain driving with this car. Much high possibility of going over the cliff not just out of the lane. Or, maybe a head on collision at 70 mph.
My 2013 Elantra is all over the road too due to very loose steering. I wonder if some actually work properly since every owner isn't complaining.
