1969 gto oil pressure at zero

I own a 69 gto and it sat for 5 years . A shop put in electronic points and can't get oil pump to work now after putting in a new distributer and electronic points did he break the oil pump? if so how?

There is a rod that goes from the bottom of the distributor to the oil pumppull tl it back put and make sure the distibutor is the same lenth and look for marks on the bottom and look down and make sure the shaft isnt broken
