is the original power plant for the 64 skylark an aluminum block 326?

buick and olds used somekind of aluminum engine back then, it wasn't really big(cid), like 22? or 23?, it was a "V" something or other. i don't think it was a 326, pontiac made a 326, then it morphed into a 350, then i think a 389, then maybe a 400, a 421, 428, then a 455.

The engine in question is an aluminum head iron V8 that displaced 300 c.i.d.
