Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having trouble finding the location of the two speed sensors located on the transmission. We have found one on the drivers side and replaced it and that one was not bad.The mechanic said that there was another one but we just can't find it. Can anybody help????

Very sorry not to know exactly where that part is, Jessica24, but I've got a link that may be helpful. Check this page for recall info, as it seems '02 Cavaliers have had some recalls involving speed sensors: http://www.lemonfree.com/more_details.php?op=4&mid=288&yr=2002. Hope that helps!

There is one located behind the engine beside the oil filter depending on what size engine you have and also you can google a diagram online to see for your self
