I have 2002 chevy cavalier the abs light came on...I changed the front break pads and the light is still on. Any suggestions on what else I can do?

Possibly a wheel speed sensor. You can get an OBD scan but only the best, professional scanners can tell you which one. See if they (the ABS) work. In a safe place get up to about 45 and do a panic stop, if you feel the brake pedal pulsate under your foot and it does not skid (much) the ABS is fine. If it locks in to a full skid the ABS has failed. But a bad or dirty wheel speed sensor will cause the ABS light to come on, and if you have . VSC that light may be on also. Either way it's perfectly safe to drive
