I need help!!

Asked by Danieleliberty Aug 20, 2018 at 12:13 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier and I really out
of gas and when I got gas to start it. It will not start
back up. It will crank and try to start but will not
start. Fuel pump is working. I can hear it turn on
when I turn over key and can smell gas. I bought a
new fuel filter but can NOT get the bolt off to
change fuel filter. Gas line is pretty rusty so I don't
want to break it. Is there a way to get it off without
breaking the line? Plus there is this huge gray box
in my way of comfortably getting to the fuel filter
so I need some ideas!!
