I lost my key to my car is a Chevy 2000 Impala and I'm trying to see if there's any kind of way I can start it up

Don't try as all you will do is cause damage. Take proof of ownership and the VIN to a Chevy dealer for a new key,

Most locksmith/road side assistance company's can make you a key as long as you have vin when you call and have you have your dl on you and either proof the car is registered to you or your name is on the insurance policy for the car and the policy has been open for 6 or more months
