67 eldorado cruise control and hideaway headlamps

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 67 eldorado has malfunctioning hideaway headlamps and cruise control the seems to
be inoperable. The passenger headlamp closes to about 80% but the drivers side doesn't
operate at all, although if I lift the panel it will stay up briefly and then slowly drop back
down.  I guess my question for the headlights would be if it is an easy fix or if it is
something that needs to be by a mechanic. Any ideas on where to start for the cruise
control being inoperable would also be appreciated. Car is all original and in quite good
shape outside of these issues.
