Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have removed all bolts that i could find to remove the front seat in a 1974 eldorado convertible but it still won't come out. The seat will rock front to back, but it seems that it is stuck in the middle. Any ideas?

There is are 4 bolts on the drivers side and 4 on the passenger side. If you only got 3 per side then you are missing one per side under the seat frame rail (?). You can figure it out...the bolts are paired up under the rear just like they are in the front.

I have a 1978 Seville that the passenger side is stuck back on the rails. I can't access the remaining bolt. Any ideas on how to move the seat along the track without the motor working?

I have a 1977 cadillac eldorado !! I dont know what kind of engineer has invented this way to attach a seat but he must have been really tortured in his whole life !!!! I have found 4 bolts in front of each front seat (2 each side) and only two (one on each side) in the back of same front seat !! so until now I was able to remove 6 bolts under each seat but still attached and rocking in the middle..apparently I miss one on each side but impossible to find it !!! please help
