crossed jumper cables on 73 fleetwood brougham fried something cause now no power to the purple wire to solenoid not clicking starter

crossed jumper cables replaced two fuseable links down by starter all the
dash lights come on when key is turned on yet no clicking to solenoid or
power to purple start wire ?

also check the yellow coil to starter wire...phewwww

Drop the steering column, check for power then check or jump out the neutral safety switch becareful it's in Park and check from there..... GM cars are pretty easy not like Ford, or Chrysler to follow the wires.....
