How many miles can I go on a full tank in my 2001
AWD passenger Chevy astro van?  Gas gauge is
broke!

Fill it. Drive 200 miles. Fill it. Calculate your mpg (or kpg). Multiply that by your tank size. Bada bing bada boom

Your problem may be from the sending unit or the instrument cluster. Does the full gauge go down or flicker? if it flickers the trouble is in the cluster , if it stays on full or empty its the sending unit. I just repaired my gas gauge on my 96 astro and it was the instrument cluster unit. Videos available on You tube to repair.
