replaced starter now it won't start

Have someone turn the key while you measure the voltage at the wire to the solenoid. This will tell you if you're getting power to the soleniod....and you should get click-click at least- if the engine ground lug is connected to the minus terminal-

i get power at the soleniod,but not at the small lug with the single wire.

You need power to that small single wire. That's the signal from the ignition key to fire the solenoid. Check the fuses or any interlocks.
