is it my starter?

tried to start my chev. cavalier this morning after 'norma'l behaviour the day before
(keeping in mind its a beater). electrical works (lights etc) and battery has its charge.
sooo.. missing some teeth from my flywheel, or, buy a starter?

See if you can get it to turn over by shorting across the solenoid. If so the solenoid might be bad.
