I own a one owner 1969 Cougar and the VIN number is 9F91M550863. That should answer your question.

go to classic cougar data base put in your vin# and by the way this 1969 cougar is a cougar Sports Special meaning it a SS Cougar only made in 1969 contact Bruce Wallace or Don Rush or Kevin Marti and get the Lois Imergine Report You will be Happy

My son’s 69 cougar has 11 Vin numbers in it or on it but I can’t get carfax or anyone else to list him as owner of vehicle and he is deceased. I need to order a duplicate title but don’t remember how we have it originally titled and can’t seem to find out. I have spent fortune trying to find out. Any ideas let me know. It used to be in my name—transfer on death to him but I just don’t know any more.
