OK so iv recently came across a 1969 mercury
couger. I've got it started an running it has sat
garaged for 7 years not drivin or turned over what
so ever. I added all fluids an decided to go for a
test drive when I put it into gear there was no
difference no sound nothing I so I gave it a rev an
nothing car didn't move I gave it alil more gas till
about 2500 rpm an it jerked forward only to go
maby 10 feet it dosent seem to do it in reverse but
in drive it's stop an go but to get it to even move u
got to rev it between 2 an 3  thousand it jerks hard
then loses all power please help it's a classic

An by the way I have added transmission fluid an its a automatic motor is a 351 Windsor 2v v8 if that helps anything
