My 2001 Chevy Malibu was over heating and now it won't start???

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It was over heating so I checked it the hose that connected to heating
element??  Was off and the plastic adapter was cracked so I removed the
broken adapter n reconnected the hose so I could get the car home n now it
cranks but won't start anyone with any ideas????

Head gaskets fail on these newer models as soon as it ran hot, no second chances, Needs Head gasket.
