Trying to find what part is on my motor

This is embarrassing but I just
purchased a 73 Buick LeSabre
Electra Glide if you're looking at
the motor on the driver side there
is like a pump I don't know if it's a
generator or what it is but the
alternator and air compression
there is on the other side does
anyone know what this is part is
called and what it does it does
have a belt that goes on it thank
you

There is even a belt that goes down around the fan but I just can't figure that out what it's used for but my generator light keeps flashing and I'm assuming that's from the alternator
