Transmission

Asked by Heather May 27, 2017 at 08:58 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Tahoe 5.3L, 2wd.  Husband
can't get two bolts off.  He says they have a
center that looks like an Allen wrench would
go in.  Is there a special tool needed?  We
need to get the transmission off!!  Please
help.

Think they are star bolts so would need what looks like Allen wrench but star shaped instead of hex, pick up a set at lowes

Will the control valve body for my 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 v8 4x4 fit on my 99 gm yukon 5.7 4x4 slt transmission question??
