1987 Cutlass Supreme steering

when i am stopped in my Cutlass and i turn the wheel, i get a pusing in the steering, ike it dosent steer smooth, but choppy. what would be the cause of that? Thanks, Cory. NL Canada

eather the bearing in steering collum is bad or the steering box is bad.

not really,if steering box is bad,you can get one out of a salvage yard,if other the steering wheel has to come off.eather way you looking at about $100.00 in parts and labor.

Check you belt. Very common for this to happen with a loose or worn belt. Cheap and easy fix buddy.
