Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've called the Chevy garage and using the VIN  was told I needed a 4T65E. When I asked which L code (LBB, LPB, LCB OR LNB) I needed, he said I didn't need that. Every place I've called for a transmission  says I need the ratio and Lcode. please help me
