Question type: General
Is there a fuse that only runs the speakers? I
need to disconnect them due to a new teen
driver not following the rules w his driving.

Depends on what type of system you are using some good systems do have fuse for speakers but if your system doesn't have one you can simply remove the speaker wire from the system.

Correction 1997. (2000 was daughters car). Sorry. Beat up Chevy, my thoughts exactly. Husband not so much. Wants to cater to my son saying he is 16 let him b 16. I really haven't studied his stereo. Husband had stated it didn't have an Aux port. But I know I hear my son coming from a LONG way from home here in the country. W 2 maybe 3 stations we get around here I know those r not the stations he is listening to jamming out. He already totalled a car 1 and a half weeks after being turned loose driving. To find out he snuck and bought an Aux cord and was jamming to the music he wasnt even supposed to have downloaded to a new concept of a cell phone. TMI. But that's the jist of it. Thanks y'all.

If I remove the speaker wire I was tuning will it affect any of the other sensors for the vehicle? Or where exactly am I looking to disconnect?

That was my question. Is there s fuse I can just remove if so where would it b located so I dont remove a fuse that powers something else.
The radio fuse may or may not power other things.
ON a 1997 fuse 38 is radio only. Look on the fuse block for the numbering. Do NOT attempt to disable the radio power from the driver's side underhood block
