Where can I get parts to fix the actuator and diaphragms, and instructions of how to fix them for a 4 wh drive 2000 ChevyTracker?

Asked by wasy68 Sep 11, 2014 at 04:49 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 4 wh drive Chevy Tracker 2 door. The dash light for the 4 wh drive system is blinking & the 4 wh drive works intermittently. My boyfriend is a mechanic so he is familiar with working on cars. However I cannot find out any info for what parts are in the differential carrier or what is needed to be done to solve this problem. All diagrams only show the outside components not what is working inside.

http://www.freeautorepairmanualz.com/chevy-tracker-repair-manual-pdf/ ..is a free download of a service and repair manual. There are more but they want anywhere from $30 to $50

As far as I know they don't sell parts to them but you can buy one thru suzuki parts (vitara,xl7 use the same pump99-04)or maybe junkyard you might get lucky.I know new they go for quite a bit....eBay sells them too.suzuki forems has a lot of info on that too on how to test 4×4 issues. Could be just a leaky vacuum line that runs to it is cracked.
