Format CD Player will Play

Question type: General

Can anyone tell me what format the factory installed cd player in a 2000 Venture will play.
Apparently it won't play .mp3's.

You need to make "normal" Audio CD that will only contain like 20 songs. File format will be converted to .WAV

Thanks. I made an "Audio" CD in Nero and it converted the .mp3 to .cda which worked. (25 selections. It would be nice if the player recognized .mp3s several hundred on one dick. Thanks again for you interest and help.
