when opening cap to coolant looks like milkshake; oil & coolant mixed

Could be very expensive. Is it engine oil or transmission fluid? If engine oil it could be a bad intake manifold gasket or bad head gasket. If it is transmission fluid it could be the transmission cooling loop in the bottom of the radiator if not equipped with separate isolated external transmission cooler.
