My 99 cav 4dr ran out of gas. I coasted into gas station. Now it won't start, sometimes it starts momentarily and then runs rough and dies. Acts like the timing belt jumped. What do you think? Do I have to prime it or should I check the timing belt?

I started my car this evening and it is running real rough and using a ton of gas. I made it to work okay, but need to drive to a garage in the morning. The temps here are around 2 degrees. I have a 94 cavalier rs 2.2 and when i start my car it idles really rough and the car will shake and yu can smell gas. It goes away when i drive away or push the accelerator. I replaced the 02 sensor air filter fuel filter air temp sensor. I replaced the plugs and wires with ACCEL and when i changed the the spark plugs had white powdery stuff on them. 3 Answers

i put fuel in throttle body it starts but wont run changed crank sensor as long as i keep putting fuel in the throttle body it runs
