Does the port you are trying to connect it to have a green cap? The high-pressure service gauge port valve is located on a vertical extension off the receiver/drier tank. The valve can be accessed through an access hole in the upper radiator air deflector to the right of the LH headlamp. The low-pressure service gauge port valve is located on the A/C compressor suction line near the RH shock tower.
The service port on the left or drivers side which is facing up or verticle and is accessed through a hole in upper radiator cover (i.e.air deflector) is larger than a suction or lowside service port. Is a highside service port larger than the suction side port?????. The suction side port that u say is located bt the left or passenger side shock tower is the lowside pressure switch. So I guess I,am back to where I started from.
Are you putting the right fitting on the right one
