How can I repair a broken computer on a 2008 Ford Edge?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my dash, the car is telling me that the brights are on, the tires are flat,
ESC is off, my doors are open, "check brake system", parking brake is on,
and more. None of these are true, so I assume the computer is damaged/a
plug is loose or dirty. How can I repair this?

The battery could probably be replaced (has about 50,000 miles on it), however the voltage is solid and I figure I have a little more life left on it. I did try resetting everything by disconnecting the positive cable and leaving it overnight. Unfortunately it did not fix the problem.
