steering fluid

Where is the steering fluid  cap so I can
check and fill the power steering fluid. This
lumina was a police car in its original life.

It will be located in the front of the engine. If you look at the pulley system, the power steering pump will be an assembly that is driven by the serpentine belt. Most cases, it will have "Power Steering" embossed or stamped on the cap. Note when filling on the dip stick that is attached to the cap, there is a full cold and full hot level. Don't overfill it.
