No, not common at all. This would indicate the wheels are out of alignment. Probably NOT SAFE to drive at this point. You should have it checked out immediately!

Before or after the accident? Like Gary suggests, any wrecked car has to be checked out before driving it again. Also, small cars do poorly in snow especially with summer tires.
One things all cars have in common is problems after they are wrecked. ;)
