We are looking for a newer (2006-2009) DIESEL Toyota Land Cruiser. Is there any chance of finding one in the US, or importing it?

We are planning to drive from Alaska to Brasil and are concerned about the amount of
ethanol in the gasoline in Brasil - so are thinking that we need to have a diesel vehicle for
the trip.  We have heard that the high percent of ethanol in the gasoline in Brasil will do
damage to a regular (newer) gasoline engine????  Our choice for a vehicle for this trip is a
Toyota Land Cruiser .... DIESEL.  We have not been able to find a 2006 or newer diesel
for sale in the US.

Ok it is not easy finding newer Diesel Land Cruisers. You can buy older versions from 1980 to 1989 land cruisers, or have your current 2006-2009 Land Cruiser outfitted with a rebuilt Diesel engine. The choice is yours. Here are some links, I am not affiliated with any in any way.
