Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will a 92 Silverado 350tbi fit in my 96 z71
Silverado? My 96 has a blown head and I
have a 92 Silverado motor I would like to put
in its place. How much stuff would I have to
change and will the transmissions bolt up

The 1992 is OBD I but the 1996 is OBD II. They're completely different computer control systems and are not compatible with each other at all. You need a 1996 or newer engine. Hope that helps! Jim
