Question type: General

Is my 99 silverado capable of pulling a 7000 lb. travel trailer? It has the 5300 vortec

What is your configuration? The extended cab short bed is rated at 7000 lbs max. Remember that you might be able to get it going but stopping is a different story. You'd need a trailer with electronic brakes at that weight. http://www.edmunds.com/used/1999/chevrolet/silverado1500/3698/specs.html
