99 silverado start up problem

i have a 99 chevy silverado 1500 2wd 4.3, ive been having problems with it
recently concerning the crank. i would crank the truck up it seems to get a
push to start up but immediately turns back off, some days it turns on and
some days it wont turn on i would have to wait around 10 mins to crank it
on completely. now just a day ago i start the truck up i drove it down the
street and it shut down completely now it wont start up it still have battery
all lights are on but wont turn on no more. does anyone know what may be
the problem ?

So are you talking that it will turn over but it will not start? The starter is cranking but the motor not running?

Sounds like pick up coil was starting to go bad the few times you did get it to run. And now it's completely done.

The 4.3L engine is notorious for fuel pressure issues. First thing to check would be the fuel pressure. It should be 56 to 63 lbs. Watch the pressure gauge for 3 minutes after it builds up pressure with the engine off, pressure should not drop more than 5 lbs. If this is the case, you should dead head pressure check only checking the fuel pump to verify the problem does not lie there. Otherwise the problem would be in leaky injectors, leaky spider lines, and fuel regulator. It would be recommended to replace these items as a new unit, as it has ben redesigned.
