Transmission change

99 Silverado 1500 5.3 I had a 4l60e
floor shift, with 5 gears on the PNR.I
bought a 4l60e tranny that had a
pushbutton transfer case to it. Put a
regular transfer case floor shift on
tranny. Tranny has 7 gears on PNR.
Should it work?

I meant that my 1st tranny had park, reverse.neutral, drive, and low gears. But the 2nd tranny had park, reverse, neutral, drive, overdrive, 1st gear, 2nd gear. Will it still work?
