how much hp and torque does a 1970 383 cuda 4bbl put out?

Apparently, the 383 4bbl is only putting out 10 more horses then a small-block 340. Said to be only 285HP.. wrong.. definitely 325+.. only difference is in the torque.. i think they are putting out about 375 ft lb... but really just look it up on google. you will find everything you need to now.
how about a 65 pre production 440ci with holly 750 4 barrel?
I read some where that they actually put out like 360 HP and 380 Torque. S.S.S.
well the 383 H/O maybe. or are you talking about a 340?
1970 was the last year for high compression , 335 HP and 425 ft.lbs torque was the MAGNUM 383 or ROAD RUNNER engine . the standard 4bbl 383 was 300 HP with the same torque425 ftlbs . About the only way to tell a magnum from a 3oo Horse motor is to read the stamping by the water pump flange or take off the valve covers and check for red springs (MAGNUM )
actually 1971 was the last year for direct connection (now MOPAR) to have high compression. my first car was a '71 charger (383, 4bbl) and the guy I bought it from still had the original window sticker! it said that it was 335 hp but I forget what the torque was rated at. not trying to be a know it all jerk, just giving some info that I have to give. MOPAR ROCKS! take care guys
