Is this for a private owner or dealer?
Private Owner Sale. The inspection service that I would use, requested information that is not condusive to the CG communication format. Like the address of the vehicle and who’s going to be there (name) at the time / date of the scheduled appointment. Any offer I might make would depend on the inspection report.
Wrong Answer ~ Not Helpful ~ Looking the next steps I should attempt to get this moving forward. Seemingly, I only get a response from CG, if I submit an offer. Is PITA worth it in the end or should I invest my T&M in VIN or alternative tracking methods of communicating with the private owner?
Unless you can get a phone number or email from the seller you are SOL. CG's interferes with the communication to the point of making the whole process almost impossible. All you can do is make an offer. No one can make you buy it if the car is no good. CG's are you listening?
Da! I offered to pay the inspection thru an on-line service contract but I need a time & location to set-up the appointment. I need to find the one way it will work to SET this UP with the CG's very restrictive communications.
Thanks, I'm about 98% sure that is the case. The sellers responses were typically only one word "Yes" & longest reply was "Say when an where" after I suggested an On-line inspection service, I reported as a fraud listing "Scam or Spam". I'm only interested in a certain vehicle spec, so I will notice when it comes on back as listed. I'm doing an exhaust internet search and finding better leads on Craigslist, Thanks again
