Anyone else have thoughts of Knight Rider when they read this! I would say you have crossed wires in your ignition module.

I would say that you have a remote starter device in your hand along with the keys and were touching one of the buttons which starts the car. Do you have a small black box located behind the rear view mirror in the car? If you do, it is probably the antennae for the remote and someone is 'dicking' you around.
