good day to all, i owns a 1998 chevy cavalie car and i can fined out the reason why when i turn the egnation it cranks starts then stop i check the feul pump i check the feul preshur regulator i also chek the cam sensor and they where ok even trowed carb cleaner in to the carb and it stayed on till the the carb cleaner burnd out then the engine stop also i took out the feul injectors and clean them out even do they look fine but the car still does the same ting can u help me fined whats the problem ?

the macanic man took the feul pressure regulator off and put his hand to block the hold and i turn the egnation to start he slightly move his hand off the hold and the gas was spraying out with force

he also took off the lead that conect to the fuel injector and when i turn the egnation you could hear the pump come on the stop then i turn to start and wile turning over the gas kept shooting out he (the macanic) told me the pump was good

what a camshaft psition sensor and what does it do can that be an ishu to why the car starts then stop
