98 cavalier starts and stalls error codes p1629 and u1016 what can i do?

dash gauges were flickering, unhooked battery and cleaned ground to battery.
car will start but won't stay running. any help is appreciated

It's your anti theft detterent system and crank malfunctioning. do you have the owners manual? if not heres a link I found for my Boyfriends 2002 2.2 I think I remember seeing something about how to reset it etc if not I definitely know theres videos on u tube teaching how to disable the gm anti theft starter issue. im dealing with no cooling fan turning and possible water pump causing overheating causing squeaking whining noise upon acceleration any help would be cool!https://my.chevrolet.com/content/dam/gmownercenter/gmna/dynamic/manuals/2002/chevrolet/cavalier/2002_chevrolet_cavalier_owners.pdf
