Gotta say I'm with Alex on this one... That can is nothing but an econo box... and I'm a ford guy lol... Move up to an Escort... much nicer car.
It's not amazing at all...but when u r a fan, it seems the perfect one for you...The amazing here is the engine.

xr2 s are bleeding amazing, they are awesome, dont listen to the people with their crappy novas and corsas. Cheap, fun and still on the road. when did you last see a nova GSI or pug 205 GTI? exactly...
It may not have the looks or the appeal of a supercar, but unless you have actually driven an XR2 you cannot appreciate the level of cheap fun you can have. They handle like go-carts, and when you really try hard the standard carb is well up to the job, twin choke webber fitted as standard. The let down was the Ford CVH overhead cam engine, bit of a smoker, breather system was poor as were the valve stem seals but if kept up together the XR2 was reliable.
