Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just changed alternator and battery as felt both could be issue. Car runs well but once warm bogs and wont charge battery.  Turn key and won't even click (also changed alt belt at same time)

if the batt has enough juice, yup.. I've been carrying a backup batt to swap out when first one tanks lol. it's like the heat makes something expand and stop allowing alt to flow charge to batt

Do you have an extra fuse that you can replace the alternator fuse with just to rule out that the fuse is good ? You can also use a test light to make sure fuse is good.

not as of yet but I'll grab one and check that as well as all connections when I can crawl under it. thanks for the suggestions, hope to attack this this weekend.

Instead of using a test lamp rather us a Multi Meter. Is the alternator charging enough ? With the volt meter across the battery the charging voltage will be between 13.0 and 13.5 volts. The voltage drop on engine cranking should not go below 9.6 volts.
