Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have removed the torque converter from the transmission input shaft and want to replace the old seal. How do you remove it without messing up the shaft? Tried to use a
screwdriver to pry it out but it wont budge. Is there a special type of puller I can get?

I would put the trans. In a truck or trunk of a car and take to a transmission repair place for them to do it. Probably take them 2 minutes as they have the tools and the experience . How much could they charge you? Call first so you can get it done while you wait.
