there's a restoration show that does nothing but mopar called graveyardcars google it up there may be a link
All Road Runners were RM, RH is for a sport satellite, 23 is your body code- two door coupe, F is your engine code- 318 2bbl, 9 is the build year, and G is the assembly plant, St Louis.
Engine code is the 5th digit in the VIN, in this case a F, which for 1969 is a 318 2bbl. the G in the vin is the assembly plant which is St Louis.
Can decode this VIN for me? RM27H96238800
Use this: http://www.degeneratepress.com/newport/vin66- 74.htm
So everytime I search VIN, I get "invalid VIN" What am I missing.
RM = Road Runner, 23 = 2 Door Hard Top, H = 383 & 9 = 1969. 7th Digit = Assembly Plant, Remaining = Production #, The Order it Came/Rolled Out The Plant.
