1973 plymouth question

Question type: General
trying to determine model of plymouth. I know its a '73 but whether its a roadrunner or satellite is a hard call. Doesn't have the "hockeysticks" along the sides like a roadrunner but has a roadrunner hood!? Was the hood an option on the satellites, or was it replaced previously?

If you can check the VIN number should start with the letters RM and then 23 or 27. The hood should have a bulge with the engine callouts on the bulge. The front bumper is a bit different from the 1971 and 1972 vehicles. The 1973 and 1974 vehicles had 5-mile an hour impact bumpers which changed to look of the front end.

Yes, the first 2 digits of the VIN must be "RM" for a Road Runner. however, there was no "27" as no convertibles were made after 1970.
The 73,74 Roadrunners had a black front grill and tail lights were also black. The Satellites had silver grill and tail lights.
