97 cavalier problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I pulled up to a red light today and my car shuttered
and turned off. I put it in park and turned the key
off. When I cranked it again the engine came on and
runs fine. As soon as I shift it into either drive or
reverse my car shuts off. Any ideas?
