97 tahoe brand new motor engine turns over twice
and floods the #5 and #8 cylinder full of gas and
then vapor locks it, could it be computer?

While the engine is cold, go to the gas cap. Take the gas cap off completely, then put it back on, Just saying it MIGHT WORK.
