Why does my 3.8 shut down? Engine just stops. No codes given or check engine light is not on.

Car runs very well until suddenly it shuts down. In town or even driving on the interstate. It starts right up after about 10 seconds...sometimes. No codes are given. What could this be? Thanx

You have a relay also for the fuel pump and your injectors that could be going as well...
Thanks every one. I know what a fuel pump does when it goes out. I figured out the problem. It was the crank shaft sensor and spark plug wires were arcing off tha valve cover. This "WILL" cause the car to shut off. Thanks for the response.
