No power, good battery

Asked by stephanie Mar 05, 2017 at 06:07 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 95 chevy blazer. Battery is good, getting no
power what so ever, and when i turn the key it just
clicks. Is it the starter? And could the starter have
shorted out everything?

You may want to check the battery cables that there in good shape, clean up both ends on the cables. The starter would not have shorted everything out. Not to say it is not bad tho.

I had same problem, my battery tester said battery was fine, finally took the battery to oriellys to let them test it. It had a dead cell and replaced the battery, then everything was fine

True, if there is a dead, shorted cell in the battery, your not going to get the cranking amperage to turn the engine over.
