The 2004-2006 Pontiac GTOs were Holden Monaros. I've got one (2004) and it's great!
i had the ute version of the monaro and i didnt rate it all that high. I brought it as the second owner and i think i had a hard life and i dont think they r built as strong as the older cars, good new car dont get me wrong but not built strong. i put 15,000kms on it and had 2 put a new gear box in it. the car when i sold it had 70,000kms. i was not happy. thats y i went back and got an old v8 holden Matt
VT had : 3.8 ltr Ecotec V6 3.8 ltr Supercharged V6 5.0 ltr V8 5.7 ltr V8 (series II)
in the 1983 vh broky came with a 4.9L V8 or the much powerful 5.0L the 4.9 were much rarer cause there were only a few made because of the demond of the 5 L
Actually, the VH V8 options were 4.2L (253) and 5.0L (308). The 4.9L replaced the 5.0L in the VK series with the 4.2L being discontinueed at the end of the VH series in 1984. I have a 1982 VH SL/E with the 4.2.
VT also hat 5.7L holden V8 stroker motor in the GTS HSV series I, the series II is when the Chev Gen III V8 was introduced
