if I view your picture, you hava a 2000-2002 cavalier, you have the 2.2 SFI or 2.2 L Twin Cam ??? or put an ecotec :P
sorry, i view the club picture ^^' put an 3.8 or a 3.8 S/C
if i put a 3.8 or a 3.8 s/c i have to rewire alot of stuff including diving into the brain granted i would anyway but if i went with a 3.4 i could still use my injectors and not rewire that part of the brain.....not to mention i would have to adjust alot of stuff to even fit it in lol
well, we have the same car, i think that engine does't need to bee changed, just put it a good air filter, new sparkplugs and a bigger muffler, thats what i deed to my car, and i have now more than 170 hp, is not much but you can beat a mustang v6 1995-1998!, i love z24, it is fun to drive
there is not much you can do to a 3.1 but you could try a lighter under drive pully
well i have a k&n cold air intake, a 3 1/2 inch tip and bosch platinum plugs its pretty peppy just not as quick as i want it....im also thinkin of switchin it to a 5 speed...that should help my cause
a 3.1 liter can push as much as 400-450HP, if u know wht yur doing. i had a 92 z24 with the same setup. to get the most out of it takes a lot of bills. put in a bigger camshaft with lifters of course. do ignition, exhaust, intake, u can also get ur cylinder heads ported and polished for about a 100.00 at any machine shop, for all ur low end power. for high end power, install lighter crank, pulleys, pistons, bearings, fuel injection upgrades (fuel injectors, pump, wire harness, and chipped computer E.C.U.) u can find these parts on jbodyperformance.com or go to any engine shop.
wow thats in mega detail lol thanks bro now i should smoke what ever is on these streets here.
word up 2 dose ricer hondas. if honda can do it, chevy can but betta.
all i have done is air intake custom box coming into my back seat and body kit and exhausts
